Job Description
The Project Manager will have overall repsonsibility for end to end managment of our setup, scheduling and completion of projects on time and to agreed customer specfications. They will coordinate between Commercial, Design and Production teams ensuring client specifications are interpreted and satisfied correctly on an agreed timescale.
Main Objectives:
- Ensure on time project delivery meeting highest level of service and quality.
- End to end project management from project award to client handover.
- Continuously develop the systems and methods used to manage product delivery.
- Co-ordinate delivery for the project with Commercial Manager, Design Manager and Production Manager.
- Managing multiple fitting crews on sites.
- Manage all Safety and Quality aspects of each project.
- Report to Commercial manager on any cost implications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of managing project delivery from award to client handover.
- Overall responsibility for all site activities such Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety which includes all related assurance, warranty and certification schemes such as SCI and BOPAS.
- Responsible for managing, induction of onsite sub-contractors.
- Responsible for ensuring company satisfies all statutory requirements; i.e Insurance, EHS etc. on site activities.
- Responsibility for all lifting plant and equipment to complete the works
Key Competencies\Requirements
- 5 + Years proven experience on structural \ civil engineering projects
- Construction Management Qualification (SMSTS)
- Ability to produce, implement and manage overall project delivery plan including safe systems of work for construction procedures.
- Setting out and site experience essential.
- Strong assertive management skills and ability to make decisions when necessary
- Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good communication and problem solving abilities

Greenstone Structures are seeking a professional and highly motivated individual to join our design team which is responsible for producing proposals and manufacturing drawings for light gauge steel frames, panels, pods, structural and non-structural. The ideal candidate will be lead a professional, innovative, and creative design team in a solution-based environment, they will work alongside Structural Design Engineers and Building Science Architects located inhouse and with outsource partners.
Job Description
The Design Manager will manage all aspects of the companys design requirements leading an existing team of structural enginees, building science architects and CAD technicians located inhouse and also with outsource design partners. The design team is responsible for producing proposals for commercial dept and manufacturing drawings for production department for the supply of light gauge steel frames, wall panels, floor cassettes, structural and non structural. Strong knowledge of building regulations and certification is essential. Vertex, CAD & BIM experience is essential. Understanding of the Building Regulations & BCAR Process. Detailing knowledge; site experience an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for management of the design team outputs
- Leading the design team and ensuring outputs are met.
- Preparing tendering proposals with commercial manager.
- Oversee Design outputs for production handover and site install.
- Clear evaluation and instruction on specification of products.
- Ensure compliance with certification and building regulations.
- Responsible for continuous improvement of design team and technologys used.

- Programming the work of the design team to meet the company’s commercial requirements
- Create a team approach and solution based ethos inside the design team
- Promote and foster culture of innovation in developing existing and new product offerings.

The design team is responsible for producing proposals and manufacturing drawings for light gauge steel frames, panels, pods, structural and non-structural. You will be part of a professional, innovative, and creative design team in a solution-based environment. You will work alongside Structural Design Engineers and Building Science Architects.
Main Tasks\Responsibilities:
- Work alongside in-house structural engineers and detailers, learning and continuously developing our design process and build systems.
- Producing 2D & 3D models, concept drawings utilising design packages like Autocad (essential), Revit\Vertex(training can be provided)
- Create 2D and 3D fabrication drawings and details for CAD CAM production equipment.
- Ensure all design work conforms to standards and is buildable.
- Manage technical submissions for various system uses on each individual project.
Applicant Qualifications:
- A qualification in any of the following disciplines: Architecture, Building surveying; Construction or Engineering.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of building regulations and BCAR process is essential.
- A high level of design and communication skills.
- An understanding and desire to learn accessibility and universal design.
- Practical experience and level of skill in the utilisation of design packages, in particular AutoCAD and BIM.
- Vertex\Detailing training will be available.
